The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is honored to accept presentation submissions for our 2023 Annual IDA Reading, Literacy & Learning Conference. This year’s in- conference will be held in Columbus, OH and offered as on-Demand recordings through IDA TV. The annual conference brings members of the world-wide IDA community together to learn from and inspire each other to bring structured literacy to every classroom and help students with and without dyslexia become competent readers and writers.
We offer several content tracks to include Instructional Practices for Practitioners, Research, Family & Community Engagement and Educational Leadership & Policy.
"We invite all researchers, educators, and advocates to apply to share your knowledge with the IDA community to bring structured literacy and dyslexia education to the world!"
Below are the presentation types we offer.
- Symposium (130 minutes, 2-4 presenters) - Symposia are featured sessions that cover a single topic in detail. We encourage groups to submit exciting symposia! If a symposium is not selected, it will be considered for a standard presentation.
- Standard Presentation (60 minutes, 1-2 presenters) - This session is intended for one presenter to discuss a single topic or for two presenters to give related presentations on one topic.
- Poster Presentation (120 minutes, 1-2 presenters) - The presenter(s) create one poster on a single topic. They are displayed on an 8’ wide by 4’ high free-standing board. Posters facilitate communication between the presenter(s) and other attendees.
