IDA 2021 Annual Reading, Literacy & Learning Conference

Welcome to the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) 2021 Annual Reading, Literacy & Learning Conference schedule to held October 21-23, 2021 as a fully virtual experience.

The 2021 Annual Conference will be hosted on IDA TV as a LIVE STREAM conference experience October 21-23, 2021 and an On-Demand conference experience November 15, 2021 through January 17, 2022.  The IDA Annual Conference is a hub of information and support for anyone affected by dyslexia. Teachers, researchers, parents, advocates, and therapists are all invited to learn, network, and gain the tools they need to help those with dyslexia live successful, productive lives.

This year’s conference theme is “Envisioning A Future with Structured Literacy- Reading Instruction that Works.”

The 3-day LIVE Stream Conference will feature the General Opening Session and Symposia from 8 am (ET) to 6 pm (ET) each day with dedicated hours for the IDA Virtual Exhibit Hall.

The IDA Annual Conference journey will continue as an On-Demand experience and include breakout sessions and poster presentations November 15, 2021 - January 17, 2022 on IDA TV.

The conference will offer the IDA Virtual Exhibit Hall, where we will host companies and organizations from around the world. Attendees will discover the newest technology, products, and services. As one of the highlights of the exhibit hall, the IDA bookstore will house IDA resources, books, and merchandise.

Throughout the conference, there will be unlimited opportunities to deepen your knowledge of structured literacy, reading, instruction, research, and advocacy by attending sessions, chatting with experts, and connecting with other attendees equally passionate about serving struggling readers. 

Whether you are a researcher; teacher; administrator; evaluator; service provider; parent, student, or adult with dyslexia, the conference will be an enriching experience for you.

The International Dyslexia Association is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology. Details regarding the number of approved ASHA CEUs will be available in the Conference Program Book in June 2021.

Consider A Donation To IDA!  Your donation will increase Dyslexia awareness, internationally. The reading crisis affecting children and adults is in need of critical funds.
