DyslexiaCon21 Goes Fully Virtual!

We hear you! After conducting several surveys among our IDA Conference stakeholders, presenters, and attendees, we acknowledge your growing concerns regarding COVID-19 and the emerging variants. We appreciate the importance of your health and safety during these challenging times.

The IDA Board Members and executive staff have made the decision to shift this year’s conference to a fully virtual and on-demand conference experience.  This was one of the hardest decisions that we’ve ever had to make, but we believe that it is truly in the best interest of IDA for several reasons, most importantly the well-being of our constituents.

Formally scheduled as a blended experience with the in-person conference to take place in Charlotte, the 2021 IDA Annual Reading, Literacy and Learning Conference will now be presented as a dynamic, virtual livestream, and on-demand experience. We will move forward in our plans to provide attendees with world-class tangible knowledge from leading experts in the areas of dyslexia, structured literacy, and research. Together, we will underscore this year’s conference theme - “Envisioning A Future with Structured Literacy- Reading Instruction that Works.”
